To thrive you must maintain a balance of whole wellness.
If anyone of these pillars were exceptionally shorter or taller than the rest you could see that foundation would be unstable and the integrity of what is built upon it, your longevity and well being, would be at risk.
These pillars are all connected and many activities and lifestyle choices may affect more than one or all pillars simultaneously.
You may be doing great with relationships and spending so much time connecting to and helping others that you're feeling run down and unhealthy. On the other hand, you may be putting all your spare time into dieting and getting skinny but not necessarily into nutrition so other aspects of your life start to crumble as your health pays the price. You may live in the gym and are so into health, nutrition, and fitness you look like a demigod, but you still feel empty or are stressed about finances, hate your job or are putting off relationships, sweeping emotional traumas under the carpet etc...
I STRIVE FOR A SOLID FOUNDATIONS IN ALL AREAS.

www.wholenbalancedlife.blogspot.com is a blog of my journey to Whole Wellness... I've come a long way and want to share it with anyone who may benefit by my findings and inspirations... Balance and Vitality became my passion because of all the life stressors, unhealthy attitudes and choices that led to doctors who couldn't do much more than prescribe for symptoms without getting to the root of the causes . This prompted my lifelong prayers and research to figure out why my body was out of balance and more importantly, how to stay WHOLE & Balanced.

How are you doing in your personal life? Do you have pillars that need added support or repair, are there some that are being overbuilt?
When one area takes a hit or is neglected to the point of disharmony, it's easy to throw yourself into another area that you succeed in and focus solely on that aspect of YOU. That may do for temporary recovery, but in the long run you need to do damage control and give time and attention to the weaker pillars.
This may seem easy for some and all it takes is to notice more time is needed in other areas, but for others it will take patience and courage to struggle outside your comfort zone and exercise aspects of yourself that feel awkward and unpracticed.
Only when you accept and nurture your WHOLE SELF will you maintain the resiliency and power you hope for.
A LIFETIIME OF LONGEVITY AND BALANCE PEACE AND FULFILLMENT
WHOLE WELLNESS and BEING WHOLE.
